Giant press from Västerbotten to China

Ursviken Technology AB in Skellefteå, Västerbotten are building the world’s perhaps largest edging press. The company is right now completing a press to enable the bending of large arms for mobile cranes in China. The market reguires larger and larger machines and building big edging presses is somewhat the strength of Ursviken Technology AB.   

”It’s about complex machines”, says Ronny Berglund, head of production in the company that was founded way back in 1885.  The most important customers are China, Germany and the USA. Approximately 30 percent of the produced volume goes to China.
